That Banh Bot Loc place was funny, you actually sat with the family LOL ....it reminds me 16yrs ago when I went back to Vietnam, it was pouring rain my family called this Bò Bía stall on the street, and the vendor pushed his cart inside my house and made the Bò Bía rolls then handed to us one by one ....we ate he rolled, simultaneously, ......for a moment it's like having a personal chef ......it's like good good, more, hurry, you're too slow LOL .... at the end the vendor was like "how much did I just rolled"????? and we're like "how much did we just eat"???? LOL.....that would never happen in Canada, I miss the craziness in Vietnam so so much

If you miss the craziness of Vietnam so much, you should have been there with me in 1969! I guarantee you wouldn’t love it as much! When I was in Vietnam in 1969, I had some real cheap housing, it was called a FOXHOLE! Nope, my draft board showed me all of Vietnam I want to see, then, now or ever!! 🎖💜♠️🪖🇺🇸

@@MichaelSSmith-hs5pw From your perspective . True .........from Vietnamese perspective grew up in the land, especially Saigon where they enjoyed a decent amount of peace, didn't have to vacate and run for shelters, they had proper house, with families and a large circle of friends and neighbours whom they knew and loves ......that's another story altogether. .........If you can read Vietnamese, people still talk about "the good old days"..refering to the 60-70s in Vietnam before The Fall of Saigon ......I still remember watching a documentary on TV in the 90s, American soldiers said "I hate this place, I want to go home" .........Being 9, 10 and missing Vietnam. I asked my mom why did they say that, my mom said Vietnam is everything to us because we're Vietnamese, they're American they're not accustomed to Vietnam . ......Then early days of the internet around 1999-2000, I went online and read these blogs, where American soldiers talked about how bad Vietnamese girls were, when they saw Americans they just asked us for money and xxx .........The sad thing is, Americans only get to know those girls because the good girls were in their homes, and if they saw Americans they avoided contacts, because it was a taboo back then for Vietnamese girls to hangout with Americans or white men......Vietnamese society judged them severely .....The girls that hugged and kissed Americans they were girls from the country side away from home and needed to make a living. Americans didn't know this because they're not in the mindset of Vietnamese
