This is my dream London crash pad! I would live up on that roof terrace on sunny days! The kitchen is too glossy and modern for my taste but that is the only thing I would change. Great tour guys!

Great looking space and the style, I'd call it post-modern. Just my Interpretation :a creative use of materials and efficient usage of space, to enhance perspective and add visual effect with mixed sharp edges,slants,curves or angles. I really like the use of glass materials to great effect on ! those stairs!

The floor materiel in the kitchen might be resin. I like the garden area, the interior is nice too, if modern drab…as so many interiors of properties in this price range look the same nowadays. I believe this is a period building. I would of liked to have seen more interior period features preserved. Rather than just completely gutted then modernized.

Clarification: Triplex does not mean a three-storey house. A triplex is a three-unit residential structure with a single owner, akin to a duplex or fourplex. While a triplex is made up of three separate residential units incorporated into one structure, the units usually share one or two common walls. Chimo

In the UK duplex normally means a two storey flat. So I assume triplex follows suit.
@michaeljamesstewart1000
Жыл бұрын
@@juliemariesmith8378 The Latin root word plex means “weave” and is the word origin of many English vocabulary words, including complexity, and perplexed. The Latin root word plex is easily recalled through the word duplex, for a “duplex” is a single building in which two living spaces have been 'woven' together. Therefore, 'tri' + 'plex means three 'units' have been woven together. 'Cine' + 'plex' is a commercially coined word from the original cinema + plex, meaning a number of cinemas 'woven' or joined together under one roof. Obviously, the constant colloquial usage of 'plex' in parts of the U.K. has come to mean 'floors' rather than 'units'. However, to clearly communicate one's message with accuracy and non-confusion, adding 'plex' can and should have only one meaning and that is the weaving together of a defined number of units. Given the definition of 'unit' is 'an individual component of a larger or more complex whole', it follows that a duplex is the weaving together of two self-contained units into one larger unit. Chimo
@juliemariesmith8378

@@michaeljamesstewart1000 agreed with all of that except ‘plex’ only having one meaning (especially cross-country!) Yes in the US a duplex is as you described, but here in the UK, it more commonly means a 2 storey flat (I am sitting in my duplex flat as I type) 😛 Regardless, the house in this video is just a 3-storey house, nothing duplexy or triplexy about it 😁

I like how your camera quality has improved recently. In a few videos now, your outdoor shots seem out of balance. Is that the exposure dealing with the sun that makes the dark areas difficult to see? Love the homes you tour... And how you also get exclusive deep dives in the Omaze homes. Can't wait to see the new Cotswolds location. Edit: Does your camera have HDR? That may solve the issue of light areas blowing out and dark areas lacking detail.

@@mufredattarot The standard of English our native language is under threat and it’s not from immigrants they of speak our language far better than the British,let’s get that issue out of the way to start. Not so interested in the opinions about decorations and furniture if I am looking at a real property. I would, however, be very interested in knowing exactly what the flooring in my new kitchen might be. Those are the details that should be hammered out prior to a sales tour, me thinks.
