After a year-long renovation project, Martin Hall is coming back online this month to house 260 male, mostly first-year Baylor University students.
Built in 1954, updates as part of this renovation include new furniture, study and socializing space; new/improved apartments for a faculty-in-residence, residence hall director and resident chaplain; and an enlarged lobby (including a second-floor atrium cutout).
The renovation is part of a campus master plan to eventually renovate 10 existing residence halls. Work at Penland, North and South Russell, and Martin is now complete; future renovations are planned for Alexander, Allen-Dawson, Collins and Memorial.
