This is the exact place I plan to go to, it's literally my dream university, but im alittle scared of moving to a whole new country without knowing anyone or the language! Still this is the place im aiming to go next year or the year after!

That's great to hear! Moving to a new country can be intimidating, but it's also an incredible opportunity for personal growth and new experiences. Many international students face similar challenges, and universities often provide support for newcomers (including learning Finnish). Good luck!

As an aalto student i wouldn't say there's really ample space to study, there's too many students for the spaces they have. Also university of Helsinki has their own metro station, and have had it for longer, otherwise nice video!

Hey hey, this video is really cool. Please make video on the Finnish education system in university. There's not much information available on internet about it. I'm sure many people would want to know about how the study programme are constructed and what you do all years and how they evaluate you.

Hi! The Finnish education system is indeed quite fascinating, especially at the university level. We'll make sure to create a video on this topic sometime soon.

You failed to mention: Rantasauna eli Rantsu on teekkareiden talkoovoimin rakentama ja kustantama sauna. Foreigners have so strange priorities. Not mentioning sauna.... 😊

Healthcare …..its very confusing 😮

Why do you say that healthcare is confusing? During our time studying in Finland, the Finnish student healthcare services have been quite satisfactory. The system is designed to be affordable and easily accessible for students. However, it is worth mentioning that certain services might have long queues due to high demand. Despite the potential waiting times, we have personally found the quality of care to be quite good. Finnish healthcare professionals are highly trained, dedicated to providing top-notch medical assistance, and often speak good English. Moreover, the healthcare infrastructure in Finland is well-developed, with modern facilities and advanced technology.

@@couple_of_expats I don't know her reasons but I can think why it might look and confusing. If you're used to having a family doctor or a general practitioner to which you first go with all your health issues, then the Finnish system is more confusing. The Finnish system is a combination of public and private services and finding and using them requires some knowledge of the system. One has to take some effort to find out what is or should be available. Also the still in some ways ongoing change into the Wellbeing services counties providing public health care and social services is a big change that has made many customer visible things and ways of providing services to change. Now Wellbeing services counties are in the middle of reorganizing their operations for better performance and productivity. When we add to this shortages in healthcare professionals. Clearly not everything is at satisfaction level in the public healthcare sector. People using student or work healthcare services don't notice this so much.
