Oh dang marsiling mall, I was just there recently. Kinda curious though. I know they're still building a few. I was thinking the area is a bit older and it has some funny layouts, the area right there has a lot of staircases and hills I definitely wouldnt have guessed the interior from the outside Marsiling area is kinda weird, like, its so built up and dense, and at the same time somehow there's this huge open area(s)

HDB flats are amazing. I would never want to live in some silly condo where you have to 'chip in' and pay $20,000 just to paint the exterior of your block or $400 a month to 'maintain' a badly maintained swimming pool hahahah. HDB dwellers are so much smarter in Singapore.

I lived in SG for 8 years for school under student visa with my brother and my mom (she was under social visit pass ) we bought a condo. This was back in 1987 sold it recently, but we moved in 1996/97. My question is ... are HDBs open to foreign ownership or only to PR or citizens. And ...are you allowed to buy it or is just provided as rentals. If pruchasing it is allowed, does it follow the 99 yr ownership rule similar to private condos/apartments? If its provided for rental only, how long can you rent it for? Just curious.
@___Danny___
3 ай бұрын
only citizen or both PR then can own. if rental from open market then is up to you and the owner to work out the rental contract, doubt most owners want a long period of rental eg 5, 10 years as market rentals rate fluctuate now and then.
@leop3009

Husband must also not be too soft, there has to be balance between a couple. Eventually, the wife who is accustomed to her "soft" husband will become domineering and not be willing to make concessions to his decisions. I'm talking from the perspective of an observer.
