I’ve had this pack for over 3 years now can’t recommend highly enough …..expensive yes but it’ll last a lifetime….I mainly use it for days walking…. it’s surprisingly roomy just be aware when you open it fully your stuff could come tumbling out!

I'm considering this pack, does it still provide enough comfort after a day of wearing it?

Great video. Now we need to see it with the side pockets.

Thanks for the review. I’ve ordered mine from you too (once I saw you could detach the hip belt) I’m now going to worry about the diver with one flipper, swimming in circles…😂

Mate late to this party but I got one and it is an amazing pack. Also bought the side pouches just a versatile unit. Bit hot in QLD but you will sweat anyway

Is it wide enough to fit a down sleeping bag? I’d like to make this my bushcraft/camping weekend bag. Thoughts?
@trekitt
Жыл бұрын
Yup, depending on the size of your sleeping bag. 28 litres will be on the small size for an overnight camping pack but this also depends how strict you are generally with your packing. I typically use something 35L and above such as Fjallraven's Abisko Friluft 35.

Hi, how could you stay comfortable if there isn't a ventilation system for your back? Thanks
@trekitt

A good baselayer! Granted it won't be as breathable as the Abisko Friluft, for example, but it's by no means uncomfortable.

Hi! it's possible to fold the bag if we want to put it in another larger one? I see a closure inside above the pocket, can we remove the foam from the back to make a soft bag and use the foam to sit on?
@trekitt
6 ай бұрын
Hi, that closure is part of the construction of the bag, the zip is reversed with the intention of it remaining closed. In theory you could unzip it and remove the frame from inside, but this is not something we would recommend doing.

Ok, so it's not compressible less than 57cm tall? I'm looking for a bag with a large opening, versatile but with a minimum high 40cm to more and to make it lighter and foldable for the cabin bag...

Something like the Sojourn Porter might be a little more suitable for carry-on www.trekitt.co.uk/rucksacks/luggage-carry-on-duffels/osprey-sojourn-porter-30-koseret-green__52755

Fjallraven Singi 28 vs 5.11 Rush 24. Your opinion?
@trekitt
7 ай бұрын
*We don't stock the Rush, so this is just initial impressions based on the product description.* Depends slightly on end use and load being carried. For carry we think the Singi has the advantage, thanks to the hipbelt and more substantial harness, but if you're not using the belt then it's a closer call. The Rush takes the win with the molle as opposed to the daisy chains on the Singi, so you'll have slightly more accessory options with it. We'd choose the Singi for more outdoor adventures but the Rush for urban use, that padded laptop sleeve makes it a super rugged commuter in our eyes.

We think you'd find the Singi 28 plenty durable enough, in practice the 500D base feels very rugged. But if it doesn't meet your spec that's ok too, exactly why there is so much choice out there in the industry!

I like the bag but it needs a place to secure a sleeping bag on the bottom
@trekitt

At 28L it would be taking up a fair amount of space for a sleeping bag, they do have a compartment on the Singi 48 though, but it is quite a bit bigger. Maybe there's room in the range for a Singi 38 🤔
