Thanks for a video on our home village. Sorry you missed the other side of the village with its farm lanes and Sir Alexander Ball gardens. The building next to the church is currently a convent, home to a small number of nuns.

Hello Alex, thanks for featuring Hal Safi, where I am from. Although it is a small village, there is more to see! There are archaeological sites from Roman times and even earlier. One of the most famous is Ta' Gawhar (which means of gemstones). No gemstones there, I'm afraid, but the world-renowned archeologist David H. Trump said it was the most treasured and rewarding dig of his career. I'm so glad you enjoyed your exploration and I hope you have time to explore some more. X

Just returned from Malta back to Germany on Thursday. And it was the best vacation in a really long time. Your videos have been such helpful guides ❤ We were so lucky with the weather in January and did A LOT of sightseeing. Driving around was a bit challenging at first and the exits and roundabouts nearly drove us insane, but we got used to it and stopped at at places like Hal Safi. We are already planning the next trip to Malta 😊

"HAL-SAFI" IS A VERY OLD & HISTORIC VILLAGE ⚔🇲🇹 🛡. Alex, I was going to call it a 'sleepy village' but not after hearing that popular sound of construction tools 🎶 🛠 😂. I've just read that : the building occupied by "PN Club" was built by the "Order of St John", "Villa Dun Gwann" is a convent and in "1417" it was already recorded as "Hal-Safi". ALEX, your "PUBLIC THANKS GIVING" 🔊 🌏 was very touching and is hereby sincerely reciprocated ☺ 🙏 🙏 . THANKS ALEX (and helpful Karina🤗 ) 🚶🎥 👏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ♥ 🇲🇰 ™

I think city cleanliness depend mostly on the population the less ppl there the cleaner it is Compared to bigger cites , and I do think that sometimes the locals of any country around the world always seem cleaner than the ppl who are not local and visitors since they are some cultures that were raised on how important it is to keep your country , house , public spaces clean while other cultures lack that

Thanks for a really interesting video about a town/village in Malta I hadn't even been through, Alex! I found it--and you--charming! I think the Maltese lacework that covers some door windows worth mentioning as well as the balconies. You know what? Even here in the US, in large cities like San Francisco, we have some narrow roads that our buses have to navigate through, and with the rains we've been having especially, we have lots of new potholes. But potholes seem to be the bane of any street that occasionally has big, heavy vehicles going down them. If you drive a street or road regularly, you just learn when and where to pull to one side or another to avoid them.

I’m from Scotland and planning to come to Malta to live at the end of this year. I’m wondering if you could give me a quick rundown on how to get a work permit visa for Malta? I’m a bit confused with some of Google’s answers because of brexit etc. just wondering if you could give me a quick rundown of the process so I can begin to plan to come to Malta. I’m 24 years old. Also the best time of year to fly to Malta for work? Thanks in advance 🏴🇲🇹

Hey Adam. As Scotish citizen you can enter in Malta and stay for 3 months as a tourist, however to work you need to apply for work visa, once you have an employer they need to fill up a form, you need your rental agreement and you can apply online. In Identity Malta there is a seperated section for UK Citizens
