In this episode of The Debrief, former 22 SAS Trooper Big Phil Campion speaks to Gareth Williams.
After enlisting in the Army and receiving his papers for the Royal Tank Regiment, Gareth visited the Naval Careers Office and began the process of becoming a Royal Marines Commando. Enjoying tours of Norway & Northern Ireland before leaving to play rugby in Australia, Gareth joined the Royal Marines Reserve and ventured into the Private Military Circuit. On his return to the UK, Gareth joined the Ambulance Service and progressed into a specialised role in the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) where he has visited some of the most high-profile incidents the UK has ever seen.
