I appreciate you showing the hard work you have to put into getting ready for those sprints. I have some health issues, albeit nowhere near as severe as yours. Your significant warm-up is really helpful for my own motivation of getting through to the point where I can do the actual work. Thank you!

"Knock your socks off there 1980s M&F! Cuz that's where that comes from...". Priceless Pat. I probably hear that stuff from some really young people even now. I can't believe it. I needed that. Have a blessed day.

Google Pat Mac Blaze Ops. On his home page it'll give you an option to buy the bands. I'd post the link but KZitem always deletes my comments if I do. Blessings

Pretty basic concept but...the die hard mentality of working out with everything and anything while pushing the limits, has got to be the ultimate longevity and capability mentality that exists. Pat is an obvious warrior, and will always be a warrior, and I would imagine that he deadlier now more than ever with age and wisdom. The Grind is way of life!!! die hard.

People do sets and reps because they work. This just tells me you don’t understand how that type of workout is designed, or why.

@@Robert_H_Diver no couch rangers here dude. I’m a strength and conditioning coach. Most of what he says tracks, but the idea that standard lifts in sets and reps are not functional is ignorant at best and idiotic at worst. What I said stands.

SGM Pat McNamara , has trained with experts in all aspects of Athletic Training , exercise , and Self defense paid for by the US government. And he designed and ran the training program used in SFOD/SMU/CAG. His training and programs were designed for soldiers , very elite Soliders , a mere 1/16 of the Spec ops community. He is sharing this to other soldiers and military members, law enforcement, firefighters, and average citizens to be better than just average .

@@jasestrong I can tell you with certainty that the coaches he worked with in service were teaching traditional methods. There is, of course, a time and place for this type of thing, but it is not the foundation of sound strength and conditioning. Go watch Matt Wenning, who worked on THOR 3 and tell me he’s coaching this stuff. Like I said, most of what he says is correct, but the idea that sets and reps don’t do anything or “aren’t functional” is wildly absurd.
