If you are the type of person to have made $100 million, you would be different. For a person to make a $100 million, they would have to think differently from someone who make 100k. That is why they live in luxury places. You are around success, you live success. It is all psychological.
@TheresSomethingAboutSherry
6 жыл бұрын
I understand what you're trying to say, but if you do the math, $50k out of $100 million is the equivalent to $0.05 out of $100. So you're basically saying that if you had $100, you wouldn't spend 5 cents (a nickel!) to stay in this hotel for one night? Or $0.15 for a weekend? Somehow, I doubt it.

Ilikealotofthings, people normally book a hotel room for overnight sleep. It's literally 50k for around 6 hours sleep. Total waste of money. But then I guess if you're a billionaire you wouldn't feel the pinch in your wallet. Still, it seems like a total waste and doesn't justify the 50k tag. I'm guessing the price would drastically drop if the room was the first couple of floors.

When I was around 26 y.o., my friend's mother held her 25th wedding anniversary at the four seasons. It was a penthouse suite and it had a staircase leading to an above floor. It had a baby grand piano with a piano player as cocktails were passed around. The woman had her HUGE diamond ring she got as a gift from her husband. This couple rented and paid for many, many hotel rooms for her 5 children, their girlfriends and regular friends. While I was roaming around this EXPANSIVE suite, I overheard someone say that when Michael Jackson was in N.Y.C., he'd usually stayed in this very same suite and, looking all around, I believed it. This was almost 40 years ago. Later, the party was held in a huge ballroom. It was HUGE. Few hundred people attended. But, what I can vividly remember was that the actor, Richard Belzer was a friend that a guest took with him to the celebration!! I was delighted. He was a very well known COMEDIAN at the time. We danced, we sang and we partied into the wee hours of the morning and thank God, we have it on VHS tapes of the entire night!!! Only once in a lifetime and I knew it even then. For one weekend, I lived like a millionaire. Very heady stuff!!! Now, it's a great memory. Don't ask how this family made their money (Italian Americans all). Use your imagination. And Richard, you were very naughty that night. I remember that too!!

Yeah, when I was little I couldn't understand why people would pay $50 for a game. It's all about your net worth, 50k can buy you a decent car, and many billionaires own hundreds of super cars each worth 1m+, so maybe 50k really isn't a big deal for them. So for example, bill gates earns over $10 billion per year, which is about $20k per minute, I guess he really won't mind spending 50k for a hotel suite.

just 1 bedroom? Wow, skimpy for the price. Also, dialogue-tone sounds too narsco-with-limited-intel in tone and style. May want to reconsider different next time

The fact is that even the period of year 2,000-2,005 when I made good incomes there were still invisible forces who wanted me to learn and embark into Fund Industry. And from now on we live suite lives. Thanks God.
