This is back when mostly basketball fans watched the game and we didn't have constant drama and talking heads to bring in the casuals. This program is simply presenting and reporting the game.

I guess nobody bothered to explain to you that it's a business. If they don't appeal to casuals, eventually, it would cease to exist. Perhaps you should stay off social media and the like if you don't want "the constant drama and talking heads." It'll be just like it used to be for you.

Feels like back then the NBA was so good at marketing to younger crowds with inside stuff, basketball cards that were actually affordable, jam session, etc, etc... dont feel the same anymore but then again im not young anymore either so who knows
