For those talking about the gift shop. I worked at a museum, and they rely pretty heavily on gift shop revenue. If they charged what they needed with the tickets, most people couldn't afford it. And having merch with their name etc helps spread the word about the place. That's actually how I found out about this place years ago when someone had a shirt I believe it was. Plus, little stuff helps kids remember the story through Association. The whole point of the exhibits is to help people, piticularlly children, learn more. Learn what they felt going in the water and why it was impossible for them to live. How steep the deck was and why no one could stay on, etc. Children learn the best through hands-on experience, and some adults. Way better then just reading a plague that doesn't give you the depth of connection that seeing and feeling does. And little children can't read, but they can touch, see and feel. It's been over 100 years. It is like any museum of history. Arguments could be made for or against any interactive exhibit or gift shop.

I hope I don’t sound disrespectful I just really like how the necklace looks. I can see why people feel some type of way about there being a shop in general because of how it looks but as long as there isn’t any disrespect to the people who experienced this, I would buy something there to always remember the Titanic and acknowledge those who did and didn’t survive. I couldn’t imagine how scared and hopeless they felt. All the children that were lost, how unbearable it would’ve been to say bye to family members not knowing if you’ll see them again. And you get a card with a victim from 9/11 and at the end you get to see if they died or not? Who comes up with this shit? This whole place is psychotic. Edit: I don't have a problem with the museum. There are plenty of tragedy museums. And I don't have a problem with gift shops. But usually if you go to a gift shop for a tragedy museum, you don't see goofy toys. My niece Tabitha went with her husband and two daughters to the museum and the dinner theater. They absolutely loved it they said it was wonderful the meal was superb the interactive dinner theater was riveting- I can't wait to go back to Florida and experienced this for myself with a herd of grandkids!

It would be amazing if they can make an exact replica of the rms titanic that is working

There is a multi millionaire (maybe billionaire) to that had plans to build an exact replica called the Titanic II, the only changes being gas not coal powered, and modern facilities like bathrooms and kitchens and stuff but other than that it was supposed to be an identical with the maiden voyage following the exact same route as the original Titanic but the project kept getting delayed over and over again, as far as I know the project was just scrapped because there wasn't enough funding.

We did the exhibit in Vegas with the card game. Something felt very uneasy about it almost immediately upon taking the cards. When I asked my girlfriend who she got, I went pale. She read aloud the same last name as my person on the card. We had gotten a in life matching newlywed couple. I took the cards back to the staff and showed them. They froze in horror and were speechless. All of these cards are shuffled at random and SHOULD NOT correspond. They had never seen it happen before. Some took photos of it when we finished the exhibit. For those wondering, the husband died. He gave up his seat on a life boat for another woman. P.S They do say that the exhibit is haunted, makes you wonder... 💀

What is it with the popularity of the the f word?!
@lisabaker9036

Read Psalms 109 verse 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him:as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him." There's other scripture too. Just try to break the habit. Not condemning you. The f word is just so overly used these days.

The first fucking class had to pay a lot of goddamned money, too, so I am sure their food was fucking scrumptious! Like, they probably ate that shit and were like “damn, that some fucking delicious food, like goddamn, that chef is a motherfucking genius!” And that gift shop is so fucked up. They just fucking want some money and that shit’s just messed up, especially that goddamned slime. The only explanation I can think of is maybe it is for the little kids; it would be way more fucking inappropriate if an adult got it for themselves.
