Maybe not quite in the per view of VAR, but I would've liked to see a discussion on the Union throw in that resulted in a goal, and the player's foot was pretty far onto the field. I would accept a "we don't have a good angle, but seems like a correct call by on field ref." Maybe have a series like MLS's instant replay, discussing every potentially controversial call

But then it's becomes VAR re-refereeing the game... which is not what it is intended use is for

Part of the foot was still on the line. The entire foot has to be over the entire line.

I’m surprised that you did not show the red card from the Timbers match that was issued to the keeper!

@@Bryanmade This show is only about showing the process when VAR recommends an on field review. That play did not have one. It would be nice to have plays like this discussed by PRO, but that opens a huge can of worms where any play could be discussed and therefore non-stop people asking why their team's play didn't make the cut followed by conspiracy accusations. You know, like on Instant Replay.

Who ever does the play backs for the VAR don't they have a headphone aswel so they can listen? This person who is doing the angles seems useless when asked to bring it back

I think they're on a different radio channel so they can talk amongst themselves, and have an official on both channels

Shame that VAR isn't consisten with its reviews. The lack of VAR used in a couple of Charlotte's last matches, nearly cost us the last couple of results we got. Frankly, I feel like you "PRO" refs need to start getting fined for inconsistently enforcing game rules and appearing to play favoritism/preference for one team over another. Refs should not be able to influence/decide the outcome of games. Your only job is to make sure there's no roughhousing, no illegal use of force, and no cheating. Stick to that. Otherwise, let the games play out.

So if there's a decision to be made which might cause one team to win or lose, they shouldn't do anything? "Sorry, I know it's a DOGSO-R, but if I show the red card it might influence the outcome of the game!"

Every decision of every game by every Referee, AR, and VAR are evaluated by PRO assessors, and those evaluations are used for determining future assignments, as well as individual and collective training. They are evaluated with respect to enforcing the Laws of the Game and MLS rules of competition, as well as game management and guidance from the IFAB. What they aren't evaluated against is fan happiness with the outcome of the game.
