Caution Be careful when handling the battery and setting it when charging/discharging! ! It can lead to serious accidents...
Recently, there are cases where a 2S LiPo, which is originally 7.4V, is fast charged with a setting of 3S 11.1V and ignites, and an old LiPo where one cell has fallen into a state of suspended animation is charged in unbalanced mode. There was a case of fire.
Please be careful when handling batteries.
Just in case, the video that I am talking about the battery

[Battery basic knowledge]
Notation representing capacity [mAh]
Example…1600mAh
= Amount of current that can continue to flow for 1 hour at 1600mA (1.6A)
Based on this theoretical amount of current that can be continuously flowed for one hour, the charging/discharging capacity called [C rate] is expressed.
Example: [1C] of 1600mAh = 1.6A can be charged/discharged
[2C] = 3.2A can be charged or discharged
[3C] = 4.8A can be charged or discharged
*Sometimes the maximum discharge capacity is indicated as [30C]. For example, in the case of 1600mAh, 1.6A x 30 = 48A discharge is possible.
NiCd: Nickel cadmium
NiMH…Nickel metal hydride
LiFe…Lithium ferrite
LiPo…lithium polymer
The voltage that can be obtained by each structure and material is different, and the voltage that is determined as the reference voltage that can be obtained is called the [nominal voltage].
NiCd/NiMH…1.2v
LiFe…3.3v
LiPo…3.7v
A single battery is made by directly connecting multiple batteries that can obtain this voltage.
As a result, 6 pieces of NiCd/NiMH are 1.2v×6=7.2v
When two LiPos are connected, 3.7v x 2 = 7.4v.
This small battery is sometimes called [Cell] and indicated with the unit [S].
* At this time, if 6 cells of 1.2v1600mAh are temporarily connected
It won't be 7.2v 7200mAh!
The voltage is the same as the number of batteries, but the capacity is the same no matter how many batteries are gathered because all the batteries demonstrate the power by simultaneously flowing the current of 1.2v and 1.6A.
* Batteries are also dangerous, so care must be taken when handling them.
This time we introduced a high-end charger/discharger, so it's verification!
The difference due to wiring that I've been worried about for a long time...
So...let's do it!
