I was addicted to opiates for 6yrs. I winged myself as he did, but never used methodone. Almost lost my life in withdrawals. He is very strong man, and every single human is capable of this. They just don't believe it. The mind can be amazing,

@@charsiu_808 I believe the universe had everything to do with it. I don't think God has time for that little shit.

The sickness is doable. Even without methodone . the withdrawal keeps you clean. That's the worst time in a persons life, death sounds better at the time, but you never ever forget it. It makes you different. Very capable. Almost like delivering a child. Man the dopamine that comes from tackeling that lasts forever. But Im a woman, so after natural childbirth, I was capable of it. Congrats Bro, your living your best self.

Thank you so much for watching Rebecca 😊 There was a time when I didn’t think it was possible to get off. I had resigned myself to the thought that I was too deep in and that I had done too much damage in my life to come back. Please don’t ever give up on your loved one. Hopefully one day when their past it, they will remember the people that never gave up on them as I have. I would walk across Canada to help the people that never gave up on me change their tire if they asked. Thank you so much for sharing Rebecca 😊

Methadone has a bad name, but it's the ONLY thing that has helped me get my life together, well that and Jesus. Currently, tapering LOW and SLOW. Do NOT taper until YOU are ready. NOT when others think you should taper. Great job Chris!! It is really tough. You did it!! Amazing.

You need 3 wks or 4 weeks from start to finish. Your an addict, so you want another drug to help you. Just get sick and be done with it.

Just keep listening to your body. I tapered from 120mg daily dose to .5 mg just to ensure there was no withdrawal. It took me a year and a half. Just keep going! You got this Crystal! Thank you so much for sharing!

What a great interview! I had the good fortune to meet Chris on his first bike ride across Canada. His story is very inspiring, and he’s one of the best people you could ever meet. Keep sharing your story, Chris! You give hope to so many people who desperately need it! Thank you, Amber, for everything you do to help others as well. You and Chris are both amazing.
