So glad I found you, bro. I think the video is original showing this niche and probably underrated feature. (and the tip about Kinemaster is also great) I am glad to see that no matter how you cut and edit the video, the Garmin dashboard will timesync to the part you keep and show on the video.

I truly appreciate the kind words! I was very excited to try this Garmin. GPS watch feature out once I got wind of the compatibility. Since, I've recorded so many videos using my Enduro 2 that I just haven't uploaded. They work so well together. There is still a little lag from data to what you see in the footage but to see that, you'd have to be looking for it specifically or have it brought to your attention. I haven't been able to prove it directly but I think the frame rate of the video has alot to do with time-stamping GPS data to your footage. For example.....the GPS data is being recorded at a specific rate of speed. Your video is also recording at a specific rate of speed. The frames per second within this rate of speed of increased won't hold its consistency with the GPS data after a certain amount of time (could be 5-10-15mins) before the GPS data begins drifting from whats actually being shown in the video which is what will be your lag. The stronger the changes in telemetry data, the more noticeable the lag. I'll probably make a video explaining this or maybe go more in depth on best case use of GPS settings per activity so users aren't using more then they need. But thank you dearly for the compliment and if you have any questions you feel I might be able to answer, ask away. 90% of my life my cameras are physically with me

at this moment why only apple watch and garmin can use with acepro how about the other smartwatch like huawei gt3 pro?
@Jonasegway
4 ай бұрын
I am very very sorry but it will only work with Garmin devices (To include bicycle devices and any other device from Garmin that could record your current activity and Apple watches). The reason might be because of how big those two companies are. In order for your Huawei watch to work, It may need to be able to track and save your activity. So if you go for a run, the watch would need to be able to record and save your GPS location. Now that watch would need a big and reputable software that insta360 could stand behind and then work a collaboration with to make this happen. It probably takes alot of planning and organizing to make all of this possible.

Thank you for the video my friend, can you please tell if you know what Garmin smartwatch supports this feature? I wanna connect my Insta 360 to get stats from a garmin smartwatch for motorcycling .Thank you.

Ok I have access to the detailed list but I can't seem to access it. So I'll send you this link. Basically any Garmin watch that can connect to the Garmin Connect app. Probably any Garmin watch pretty much as long as it has a gps chip in it. You just gave me an idea. I wonder if my Garmin bicycle GPS will sync up 🤔. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm here for you guys

Bought Ace Pro for cycling yesterday and paired with Garmin Cyclocomp Edge 830. All data delayed for 20 seconds. No delay if I sync with my apple watch (Apple Watch Ultra 2) though but I don’t my power reading with that. Any solution?
@Jonasegway

Power readings should come with having the power sensors mounted to your pedals. Once installed,pair the power sensors with your 830 and you will see the power value in your video. As far as the delay goes, I don't know when was the last time you tried to edit any of your videos with the telemetry data using your

Garmin edge 830 but insta360 just did a software update allowing us to synch our telemetry data with the video. Depending on how hard to accelerate and slow down with your bicycle you may still experience some telemetry data reaction delays despite using the new feature insta360 added. Next time you use your edge 8:30 for telemetry data when you go to edit the videos click on stats and then there should be a icon under stats allowing you to move a slider. This slider is what you will use to synchronize your actual footage with the telemetry data.. Most of garments the GPS devices from the watches to the bicycle GPS is only sample at 1hz. This is good for accuracy but terrible for use with action sports. This is also another reason why the batteries for these small devices last so long. They don't need to put a powerful processor in these computers and watches. Just a really good GPS chip set that will focus more on accuracy then telementry data speed. Your apple watch samples at 10hz per second I believe (A basic sample rate used to measure automotive performance). That is why your apple watch performs much better in the lag department vs the Garmin stuff.

Definitely play around with that new option in the insta360 app and see if it helps. I was editing a video I shot 2wks ago and found a new telementry data interface (we not have 7) the latest one theyve added is probably my new favorite one before the 'race' interface.

You are supposed to connect your phone to your camera once right before filming, and that will update the camera with the correct time. And make sure your phone is getting time automatically from the network.

1hz Vs 10hz sample? Preview remote is better than garmin
@Jonasegway
7 ай бұрын
From my experience, the insta360's remote is "better" for telemetry data then using my Garmin. The Garmin's GPS system seems to be 'slower' to respond with faster movements like car/motorcycle acceleration. The good thing with the Garmin watch (at least with my Enduro 2) is if I don't have my insta360 remote, I dont need to worry because I likely have my Garmin watch ⌚ I could use and it will likely have enough battery power to still function as a GPS remote for my video. But yes it seems like the sample rate of the Garmin is slower then the Insta360's remote but if you are needing telemetry data for things like cycling, running, the Garmin's GPS sample rate will be perfect (and still wasn't horrible for use with my electric scooter either.

Can I ask you, do you know if that heart rate monitor works without the watch, maybe through an app alone? Thanks !

Ok so did not work without at least my phone (while using a recording app like Strava) or my Garmin watch/bicycling GPS device. It stores up to like 18hrs of information but you won't be able to see it even after working out with the Garmin connect app.
@Jonasegway

So you can use the Garmin HRM Pro plus which is the one I am using with the Strava app. It will add your heart rate to your recording. To do so.... • put your HRM on first so that it could wake up • Hit record on the Strava app • On the bottom you will see a heart icon, click on it • click on add heart rate monitor and your heart rate monitor should show up once it wakes up • it will add whatever data it can provide to your Strava recording.

It works with apps using bluetooth heart rate sensors. The HRM Pro Plus (and the yellow HRM Pro) work with both ANT+ and bluetooth. Unfortunately ANT+ is hardly supported by phones lately but you can hook up the chest strap via bluetooth to apps like Ride with GPS, Strava (as mentioned below), Polar's App (sorry, forgot the name) or LocusMap for hikes. You could even use it with Zwift for running. It would even pick up your cadence AND heart rate. (for biking you'd need a power meter)

I have the Enduro 2. I would tell anyone to get the Fenix 7 pro if you're interested in the Enduro 2 ONLY BECAUSE it has a more modern design to it. Don't get me wrong I love the Enduro 2. Theres something about having battery life that goes over a month between charges (I've had it since mid-november of 23' and only charged it 3 times on FULL SEND mode) and on this third charge it has 78% battery left. But coming from Samsung Galaxy watches, I didn't need to make such a big battery life jump. But if you want something more modern ish, I would point you in the direction of the Fenix 7 Pro Solar sapphire. Keep in mind these watches will last you for years. People who buy Garmin watches usually use them 8-15+yrs. So pick the one you want to spend a very big chunk of your life with and enjoy it for the times to come.
