Nice - great results and again saving u loads! recommend on these panels that you bang them with side of your hand to get the glue to grip! For PVC products consider whether they are likely to get hot in direct sunlight as they will expand along their length.

Just curious why you didn't use nails/brads/staples/screws too? They hold panels/gyprock/trim/moulding etc in place until the adhesive goes off & then you don't need quite as much adhesive.

How do you hand pictures or wall decor to hang on wall after putting this panels? Whats the trick. Thanks
@TheCarpentersDaughterUK

I wouldn't really advise it, which is a massive downfall to these panels, so only put it on sections where I wouldn't hang things.

If you get any tubes of adhesive,silicone etc that are hard to squeeze out the gun, stand the tubes in warm water for a bit and they flow a lot better 😀

I mostly used gripfill adhesive which is not my favourite to apply. I find the cardboard tube twists more and more in the gun. I much preferred just using the last tube, No More Nails. It was so much easier to apply without the hand ache!

Again a brill vid :D A plasterer or any reputable tradesperson will charge for overheads running cost, take-home pay and some profit, in return you will and should provide you with peace of mind and do the job to the highest quality and offer an warranty or guarantee on workmanship and materials but like anything in life it should be a fair exchange
@TheCarpentersDaughterUK
6 жыл бұрын
Thank you. My heart sank when I got quoted that. I really wanted to find a plasterer to take it off my hands (and have a contact for later down the line in this house) but it's not in my blood if I don't feel it's good value.
