As a recent sub I find it incredible the talent, knowledge and qaulity of the work you do. As a former professional iron worker welder your welding knowledge and welds themselves are too notch. Cant wait to see the exhaust build. On my project truck I used v band clamps to connect the pipe sections together, much cleaner and easier to disassemble and reassemble. I used a product called solar flux to protect the welds on the inside of the exhaust pipe while TIG welding because I didn’t back purge with argon.

I think that someone with deep pockets should start a repop business to build older cars/trucks/bikes/other and have a custom shop to build to order. I do believe its been tried without success but with the current market on vehicles there is a lot more room for profit as no one wants to work for free. By the way you dress and talk, I would pass by you not suspecting a real builder.... take a bow as its a deep complement for good quality work done. I have seen a lot of men try and fail at your build. As well as the many talents you show in other videos. A really nice job. I did a chevy interior on a 95 model and the headliner beat me up... I failed a few times getting the material to stick long term as he ran the heat very high and it was california where he lived. He came to alaska where I lived to have me build the rig. He bought it new and used it in his cement business and hauled everything including horse poop and getting a rig free from every dent, every rust out, and the scratches were not even describable. As you know, you can not paint over a scratch and it go away so sandpaper by the box full was the order of the five weeks he gave me before driving back.
@WaldosWorld
3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It would be really cool to have a custom shop like that, but with the amount of work that goes into each project, prices would have to be *ridiculously* high to make it profitable. Unfortunately, few people would be able to afford it

The backup cam option is great and the placement of the cam you select will be the most beneficial when it provides for a view of the trailer hitch when backing to hook up a tag along trailer. You could even switch between two cameras and have the other mounted to see the gooseneck ball for the same reason. 😁

The interior is quite nice. i don't know if a center console would work with the manual stick on the transmission tunnel, but from eyeballing a center console from a 1999-2000 Cadillac Escalade , if the small storage compartment at the front of the console is removed you would have an opening for the manual stick.
