My manix was the same way, what I did to solve the issue was to hold the knife blade up, tip towards me in the closed position, push the blade to the right with the left thumb near the tip holding it through out the whole process, loosen all the screws in a counter clockwise direction starting with the bottom right side screw keeping pressure on the blade...now tighten the screws in the same counter clockwise direction...repeat this again while still maintaining pressure on the blade. What this does is aligns the pivot with the tip of the blade by slightly shifting the scales. If this does not work then the blade is truly bent. Hope this helps Kevin.

Thanks for the video. Quick question... what brand cork work mat? I like it. Also comment... like you ran into here, i have found the hardest part of reassembly is that it always takes me awhile to play around and get all the torqueing correct. Kind of like doing scope rings and how easy it is to throw off a point of aim. When i did this the first couple of times, i would loosen up those pivot screws and then be bummed by the screws being loose. Then it dawned on me, duh, tighten the back spacer screws to put more tension on the front. Same thing with centering. I realized that of it was off to the right, i had to tighten it to the right. Its like a mini lesson in geometry and patience everytime i do this.
