A little late I know, but most electronic wall switches (bluethooth/wifi) have an "air gap" disconnect built in somewhere. It's worth checking the manual or spec sheet for your specific switch. Usually it's in the form of a little fusible link, or piece of plastic that presses contacts together when it's inserted. It's there as both a failsafe to temporarily kill the switch if needed, and also as a way to reset/power cycle the switch without having to go to a breaker and kill the entire circuit (like if it stops responding to bluetooth for example).

Love your content, however it would have been nice if you included a link the all the tools and supplies used, especially those lights. I have been searching for those lights (with the black rim) on Amazon, with no luck.

Planning on installing recessed lights on the left and right side of my house. It can get really dark on my sides. Is there a recommendation on how many recessed lights to installed per feet or length of your house? Or is it just preference? I was thinking 3 or 4

Was wondering if you had any issues with the soffit sagging? I am trying to have the 6" version installed by an electrician and he is warning they will cause sagging.

Doesn’t really matter 4 inch or easier to cut holes for and a lighter so they won’t sag the soffit as much but 6 inch or brighter
