When I picked up my new bike, the clutch lever was so hard to pull, I had to use all four fingers just to bring it in. Which is a big NO in my books to ride that way. I desperately needed a lever that was easy to pull and I could control with one finger.
A lot of people told me to get use to riding with two fingers but that is just not how I want to ride. I need as much grip I can get on my bar for maximum strength.
On my personal instagram account I had asked a lot of you for recommendations on a better system and a few of you recommended the Midwest Mountain Engineering Clutch Lever.
So without hesitation, I picked up the lever along with a matching brake lever to boot.
After riding these new levers, I can't believe the massive difference. I do not think about clutching at all, and can pull with ease. Just my cup of tea.
If you haven't learned this about me yet, I am 5 feet and zero inches tall (and shrinking) and I am all about making my machines comfortable and manageable for me to ride.
It's all about making these machines work for you, YOU shouldn't have to work for them.
If you are looking for a set of easy pull clutches I do recommend this set, however keep in mind that when you do any modifications to your clutch levers, you will need to carry the specific allen key tool with you at all times to adjust the engagement point as it likes to float around as the bike warms up.
Thank you for watching!
Also, this video is not sponsored. I'm all about modifications, products and set ups that will help advance your riding for you.
