Works so much better! I used to have an MRT kit on my fox and a light wind gust would blow the hood shut. Actually bumping the car would make it slam shut. I hated them so much I took them off and put the prop rod back on.

I want to do this to mine. I've had the Redline kit saved for a couple weeks now. I'm sure I'll buy it sometime. Just got done with an engine build and swap. Haven't hooked everything up yet to run.

I bought the MRT kit.Had the kit on my original hood for a few years. All it did was bow it up. Huge gap between cowl and hood since it pushes the hood forward. This cause a large gap by the fenders as the hood sits higger. Makes the hood hard to close. Struts dont hold up the hood in colder that 70 degree weather.

Wow, glad I didn't go MRT. Hate that happened to you bro.

Other than redline themselves probably the best install video out there. Great job as always. I really admire that you try to do almost all the work yourself. 💪
