Thank you for the run though. I see this that onboarding app is only compatible with version 1.0. Any info on updated documentation/video?

Hi @studios116. Thanks for watching! That last script was something I came up for the demo but is not posted anywhere public. I'd be happy to send it to you. Can you hit me up on our public Slack channel (slack.networktocode.com/) and send me your email address or I can just send it in the channel. I am 'Tim Fiola' on the public channel. Thank you! Tim

Are you able to encrypt the password for napalm?

Yes, the Nautobot device onboarding application can encrypt the password for NAPALM. This is achieved through a feature called SecretsGroups. These groups securely store sensitive information like passwords within Nautobot. When configuring an onboarding job, you can specify a SecretsGroup containing the necessary credentials for the device.

Hi, thanks for the video, however it seems that the device onboarding on my end is not working, no errors, or failed logs, etc.. just the device don't have status even its accessible form the nauitobot server.

Hi Chris. There are two ways we can address this: 1) open up an issue in the repository on GitHub (github.com/nautobot/nautobot-plugin-device-onboarding/issues) or 2) ask the question in our public slack workspace slack.networktocode.com/ in the #nautobot channel Those are the 2 forums where you and our devs can have a back and forth about what you are seeing. Opening up an issue is the more formal way to proceed

@@timfiolantc564 hi Tim, thanks for the response, already resolved by disabling the ssl onto the nautobot server. by the way on the device onboarding plugin, did you tried already to onboard an arista device? All platforms from my end including nxos, xrv9k's are onboarded successfully but not the 'eos' platform. always getting "fail-general" under failed reasons and only 'errors' in the message - no specific error details, even though the process is the same as the nxos using 'nxapi' there seems to be a bug for 'eos'. Already tried to ask on Networktocode Slack channel but currently to no avail.

@@timfiolantc564 Hi Tim, with the plugin version 1.1.1 - did you noticed possible bug to onboard arista devices? Already raised an issue on the Github Repo but seems all issues raised are all untouched.

@@esuyawkaljoosysisay20 Hi you can do the workaround I did by issuing this command " git config http.sslVerify false " then restart your nautobot instance, it resolved the issue.
