Nice, thanks for the info. It's great to have some procedural capabilities inside Maya. I've also done this with Arnold standins and a jitterColor node. Arnold override sets are a convenient way to set things like opaque and smoothing on multiple objects.

@@BrentLeBlancCG yep, I'm trying that script but it doesnt work in maya 2019.2 idk why, error line 7 setAttr: Not enough data was provides... :c
