Then you see the tough guy scamper off really fast, 🏃 but not fast enough!! 5:57 - I love how this guard gave the horse a nice sturdy pat and reassures him! On the other hand some of the horses seem to like the attention. They even turn their heads towards the people in a curious manner with a relaxed posture. The biggest problem is most people don’t know how to read each other, let alone a horse. They are so caught up in their own world[s] they don’t watch to see if the horse is approachable or ask if it’s ok. The family in the beginning of this video were one of the few I’ve noticed asking before hand.

I find it absolutely ridiculous that kids respect the guards and horses more than grown adults maybe adults need to follow their child even though it should be the opposite. Very sad really

These wonderful horses just need the love and care of their Kingsguards and people to support them. No stupid tourists to get on their nerves. When will word get around? ?????? I'm afraid as long as they aren't banned from contact with the horses, never. It would be so easy. A thick white line and a few bollards or chains, and a board with instructions, and the problem would be remedied. Since in the UK almost everything can be read on the street anyway, a line like this wouldn't be noticeable at all

A lot of people are so rude. No manners. People trying to take pictures and step right in the way. Some people take pictures and never leave so others can have a turn. The horse and soldiers should be treated with Respect! They work protecting the Royal Palace with the Queen inside. Grow up people. Learn to respect others, especially if this isn’t your country!

IMHO Police should all the time deal with any situation, even the most insignificant one, in pairs at least.

In America, they would shoplift those horses and the kings guard as well and the police would stand around and watch it happen.

Some people tend to forget that the King's Guard aren't mere tourist attractions, but actual soldiers of the British army on duty. If that alone isn't a deterrent, the presence of Westminster police fully decked out with Glock pistols and M4 carbines surely should be. On the other hand, some people nowadays know of no boundaries anymore... some have even stumbled into active volcanoes while trying to snap the ultimate selfie
