Love this quick simple recipe. When living in an RV the simpler the better and this would work for those days when I cannot get outside to cook. Love my grills! Also easy to store these simple dry goods in a limited space with minimal space in the fridge for the meat addition. Thank you again!

Made this tonight, fantastic !! No beef, so I used some left overs: a couple of fish fillets and scallops from a left over take-out fisherman's platter, started with some raw mushrooms(4 oz) saute in butter, added #2 chappagetti #1 spicy noodles, 3.3 cups of water, pressure cooked 0 mins., added the spices etc., the fish, and scallions. Had some left over duck sauce on the side....it came out amazing !! This would be a favorite at any Chinese joint. Not kidding, this was really super !!

Suggestion: leave the steak whole (trim fat), and drop them in at high heat to BROWN. Don't stir. Flip once, then take out and let sit for 15 minutes and cube at that point. That browning is amazing flavor that you lose by stirring it like you did. Maillard reaction for the win. Thanks for the recipe!

Heyyyyyyy, we're huge fans of Korean instant noodles so we've got the stuff to do this on hand! My husband just jumped up to get the steaks out of the fridge and we're headed to Ram-Don Town, buddy. I'm going to use two different Nongshim noodles though; their Zha Wang with oyster flavor sauce, and their Champong spicy seafood noodles. The flavor profiles of both are very close to the Chapagetti and the Neoguri. Chapagetti was my fave veggies-and-brown-sauce ramen when we discovered Asian instant noodles, but later I found I preferred the Zha Wang noodles muuuuch more. The Zha Wang noodles themselves are just amazing. Jeffrey, for this recipe I'd totes recommend adding the dehydrated veggies/flakes to the water *before* the noodle pucks. In my experience they plump up much better when added in the beginning ;) Thanks for the awesome recipe; I'm headed to the kitchen!

@suzbone

@@ShelleyKimmel Thanks for the kind word! We live in a very Asian part of town so we're spoiled for choice. That said, different markets carry different stock so we have to shop around for a couple of items. Our nearest H-E-Bs have started stocking the Zha Wang noodles (and at a better price than at the Asian markets). The Chapagetti noodles are super popular and we find them in all of our nearby Asian markets, as well as in some nearby H-E-Bs. My husband and I did make this Rom-Dom recipe and it was REALLY good! I was extra happy about it because I'd bought a 4-pack of the spicy seafood noodles a few months ago and found them too spicy and too clammy on their own, but now I can use them this way! We're looking forward to making this again, next time with some sautéed snow peas.
