Hi Jeff, it looks like you're struggling to use chopsticks. You're holding the chopsticks as though you're grabbing a spoon or fork which is incorrect. Think of chopsticks as an extension of your fingers. The goal is to pick up food using only the tips as opposed to burrowing the length of the sticks into the noodles to drape the food around them. Your middle finger should be placed in between the upper and lower chopstick not below the lower one. The upper chopstick is held above the lower one not side by side and on a parallel plane to the floor. Place your fingers higher up on the chopsticks for a better grip. Proper chopstick use may not seem important but it still does matter.

This one's quite tasty. I hope you don't throw away the four section of the Napa cabbage. That would be quite tasty cut up or shredded and in the instant pot with some smoke sausage, coming right especially a Chinese lop Chong. Also, I would cook the egg in oil first on the saute function and reserve it then do the vegetables and then finish the recipe that way instead of adding the egg at the end. That way you get actual chunks of egg when you put it back in.

When you're eating food with chopsticks do not stick your chopsticks into the food as you did at 13:00. This is seen as a curse in Chinese culture. This is taboo and said to bring bad luck because it reminds people of the incense used at funerals.

Recipes are easy & you encourage folks to change up ingredients to our liking. I bought my bro an IP & your first book. I think he's made everything in it already & has become comfortable with the IP now thanks to your book. Be well.

Mmmm! Adding this to the meal plan. To make it kid friendly I’ll probably use vegetable oil, leave out the jalapeños, and then finish just the adult portions with a little chili flake/oil or sambal.

This recipe looks good but I think if I make it I will cut back on the spice factor. I can handle some spice but don't like it overbearing that you can't enjoy a dish, like a lot of Thai restaurants tend to do.

Hello Jeffrey! Is there a way to substitute shirataki noodles in your recipes? I have never tried to make them as part of a pressure cooking recipe. Have you ever tried to use them in a pressure cooker recipe? How did they turn out? If they cannot be used in a pressure cooker recipe, can they be prepared separately and then added to the dish at the end? Keep up the fine work!

I also have the instantpot max which I feel like not many people have. Im part of a super informative instantpot group on facebook and have seen this question come up a Lot. Here’s hoping I can join your group and get more info on the cooker….Thank you so much!

@@michelinelavoie2086 Happy to help! 🤗 Im in a couple different ones that I randomly searched, but the one I find to be the most helpful is called “Instant Pot Community” and its a public group so it should be quick and easy to join. I was super intimidated by my instantpot when I first got it and this group really helped answer so many questions and also blew me away with so many more ways that I didn’t know were even possible with the instantpot! Like fried chicken, cheese cake, lasagna, and cottage cheese?! Also, It’s a general instantpot group, not one for the Max, but still, I have seen every question under the sun being asked, and it’s an extremely active community where there are always tons of people trying to help and offering answers. Hope it helps!

How do you know if your Jalapeño is a spicy or mild one? I have two to use up but don’t like a lot of heat.
@littlehousehappyhome1504
2 жыл бұрын
Jalapeño peppers have white lines on the skin if they are mature peppers. That sometimes is an indication of the heat level of the pepper. The more white lines, the higher the heat level. Good luck and happy cooking to you! Have a blessed day. ❤️🙏

@@littlehousehappyhome1504 Thank you for that. I just couldn’t remember what was the sign of the heat level. I appreciate your quick answer. 🙂
