Great video! Love the Auto-Tune formant tricks. Also you could use Antares’ Warm saturation and Duo doubler plug-ins for those parts of the puzzle (and yeah I work at Antares 🤪)

Just like what we do with this vocal. Take sounds, throw on a ton of reverb and delay, filter them out, add some width and saturation, and add in some movement with sjidechaining or cutting them :D

If you don’t want a kick in the arrangement, but you still want something to duck, you can just use a kick routed to nothing so you still get to side chain without having the actual kick.

I stated in the video this one wouldn't be "chopping" the vocal, but would still be in the style of a "chopped vocal", and I said that we have videos we have already done about how to actually go and chop up a vocal in the more traditional fashion. This is more about how you can process a vocal, or vocal chop, to be more interesting :D
