First of all: FOR THE ALLIANCE! Second: The standard WOW interface is pretty lightweight. Could you please test it with some GUI like ELVUI + some serious weakauras and other addons enabled? They will be a little bit more taxing in terms of overhead and latency and as you may probably know, online gaming is affected by network responsiveness in terms of FPS output. p.s.: that's a nice DOGGO!

It's a bit tricky to check and compare the fps in WoW (especially 1%), you would need not to move cursor over any nameplate/characters to reduce variables for testing. Due to how WoW stupidly works, even with default UI, when you mouseover a target, fps drops, as it read many info without caching them. If you would move mouse supreme fast between couple targets, you can pretty kill fps on any machine (easy to check on couple target dummies by sliding mouse cursor supreme fast between them). Good content btw :) Btw for personal use, outside testing, if you play WoW as well, i would recommend reducing default CVAR gxMaxFrameLatency from 3 to 1 with rig like you got. You should feel small difference in better input lag.

Yes, in BFA was easier, the Queen Ashzara boss fight was perfect, almost no difference in FPS over multiple runs, very accurate, now is tricky, but I will find out a proper location to measure the CPU performance in raid. Didn’t know that setting, thanks! I will try that one for sure!

Hey dad can you compare a i9 9900k around 4000c14-15-15 (what i run daily, can be slower maybe a 4400c16 kit?) vs 11900k with tuned ram/gear mode? seems like gear mode is very interesting for higher and more stable fps when u go beyond 200+

Of course, you are heavily CPU limited, you should change the ram to a 3600MHz kit, or directly go for a newer generation CPU like Intel Gen11 or Zen3, that 3080 needs to be fed properly :D

140 is a lot, if you don't need extra frequency the 11400 is almost there, and you can buy a better ram kit like b-die, the Z490 Tomahawk is more than enough

I have this CPU but the KF version and Corsair 32GB (2x16gb) 3200Mhz Vengeance LPX RAM, but when I play wow classic my cursor is really delayed at barely any load at all 62% cpu 30% memory., do you think any of the parts are defect or? EDIT: The cursor is fine in areas like Coldarra, but anywhere else theres an added 20+ms delay to my mouse movement

@@HardwareNumb3rs Ofc ofc hehe :) 2 months ago I finally got the Morpheus 2 cooler to replace my stock vega 56 blower, I stuck a vega 64 bios on it and now its so much better in shadowlands. Almost like getting a whole gpu upgrade, the blower really really caps vega. Anyway I needed to upgrade my kids i5 3570k, so I decided to give him my 3600, mobo and ram and get me an 11600kf to play with. Last intel cpu I had was the 2600k with a nice oc, my old 1700 was a weak overclocker and then the 3600 was even worse. Atm I have the 11600kf at 5ghz all core with a 1.37v core voltage, i have plenty of tinkering to do, since this cpu and the vega upgrade shadows lands and places like the docks in that BG is a lot better, sorry for the spam, explaining my pc story :) also I am happy I went intel this time as in my 11600k oc research I found your channel! I can finally get my wow statistics.
