I feel like this would make a great KZitem short to farm engagement from people who think they know better than you

I learned this looking to go from a 11700f to a 11900k only to see that the 11900k some times LOST to a 11700k lmao.

Wait until he figures out that AMD CPUs don't handle audio.

@@mohammedgoder Correct, the issue is in the chipset itself (specifically the USB portion).

@@amilkyboi This has nothing to do with sample sizes. The fact is that AMD CPUs don't handle audio. There is usually a dedicated chip on the motherboard that handles audio on AMD platforms.

Ahh, that’s what you meant. I went from the 10850kf to the 13700kf. Had to basically build a brand new build 😂 I love the building process tho

Was I the only one who read that read that title and saw "Intel DIED to me"? Anyways... A few years back I had a choice, Intel's 9700k or AMD's 3700X. AMD was considerably cheaper at that time, and the 3700X actually competed quite well with the 9900k, which speaks for a lot considering Intel's CPUs haven't really moved that much since then, as they are still largely stuck on the same process node.

I've been using AMD since 2019 (1700X, 3600 and now 5950X) and not had a single issue with weird audio behaviour that wasn't outright PEBCAK. Odd...

I will be on my 5950X for a long time, power to performance ratio is still unbeaten. 99% sure any issue he mentioned would not be occuring on a 5000 series or newer AMD chip.

@@JakobRossner-qj1wo I haven't had any audio problems on an AMD Ryzen 2700x on both Windows or Linux. It's probably just their setup.

Theo is 100% on the money with the AMD audio problem. Been using an AMD pc for 4 years. Anytime I go to compile a big program and I have music or KZitem playing, the audio just goes haywire. If all you do is play games all day then by all means get an amd cpu if it makes sense. But for people who are productive, making things, and pushing all of the cores to their full potential, the audio and reliability is a significant issue on AMD, which is why I just switched to Intel.

Yeah for Content Creator multi threading work you would never upgrade from a 10700K to the 11900K. But otherwise you are misunderstanding a lot which explains why you bought the wrong CPU. 11900K has better single core. You can overclock each core individually unlike 10th Gen. So many new overclocking features were introduced with the 11th gen. Now why did you recommend this to me KZitem? Clicks 'Don't recommend Channel'.
