This is a sound sculpted by the notion of humanity gone completely insane. A masterful dissertation on the paralyzing hopelessness of existence and the inherent inability to find any solutions to it, epitomized in the monolithic "The Atavist's Meridian" and ouroboric "Blood on the Lupines". What a fucking beast of an album. 10/10

Amazing album with all its different textures. Since it is probably no longer possible to see Neurosis, I'd love to see Melvins, Yob and Inter Arma. That would be a killer gig for the ages !

One of the darkest and harshest albums I've heard this year so far. Inter Arma is a challenging band to listen to, but I always feel satisfied when their music is over. Great stuff.

Thanks Brad @AgressiveTendencies and BangerTV for demanding a listen of the full album. I heard "The Howling Lands" and enjoyed it well enough, but the full album experience is horrific and beautiful. I haven't found an album that left me feeling this raw in years.

You should absolutely listen to I:Voice by Warforged as well, it's my favourite album so far this year. Slightly less of an oppressive atmosphere, a bit more technical, but it has a similar feeling in my opinion.

Totally agreed! I love the contrast that track provides with the rest of the album, it's calming and a nice breath of air between the slabs of doom. As an artist, Inter Arma have really influenced my own music in that regard, putting in calming tracks to make the intense ones that much better.

Fantastic album and band! Ordered this and Paradise Gallows a while ago, still waiting for PG. Inter Arma made me excited for music again..I've listened to all kinds of stuff, but this somehow just clicks. Favorite track Blood on the Lupines.
