Buon lavoro
In the 1980s, the teacher and saxophonist Lennie Niehaus published a series of methods on jazz pronunciation. In my opinion, these methods are an excellent tool to learn not only to use the right articulation and the right pronunciation, but they are essential for learning to stay on time, essential for playing jazz well.
The writing is based on the language of the Big Band but with openings to the BeBop lexicon. The performance can sometimes be redundant if you slavishly perform the score, but it is essential to practice reading and playing even when the result is scholastic. Each video has a esecution part and a subsequent backing track to immediately make a comparison between my performance and yours. good job
