Drinking bulletproof coffee in your fasted state isn't fasting! You have to take on liquid with no calories such as black PLAIN coffee, ACV water, green tea, sparkling water. I'm a month into IF, I'm near my target weight anyway so it's much harder to loose weight when you're not very fat to start with. I've lost 10lbs though (combined with 4 workouts a week)!! I'm over the moon with the results so far. It's hard at first, be kind to yourself and don't go too crazy cutting the calories as this is what I did in the first week and I felt sick and fatigued (and grumpy!). SBC hi I did it before 1 month and last week I did it for 5 days and forgot to drink water only 1 cup and I I started eating normally on Saturday. Had sides effect chest pain and dizzy. And now it’s happening again this time my left chest. I checked my doctor last week checked my blood pressure and mid chest where it pained and to take big breath and take Paracetamol. Can you please tell me what to do? I’m worried

@@watchme7076 you need more trace minerals!! Potassium magnesium sodium calcium etc bit drink Himalayan salt in water and strong nettle infusions and get a bit more dairy in for calcium

To avoid being hungry try ginger and lemon "tea" you make yourself. Apple cider vinegar works also. My glucose was so messed up before starting this I would feel like passing out if I skipped a meal (so that never happened). Now I have no problem at all eating two meals a day at 11 am and then 5 pm. My energy is up - no more caffeine after my morning coffee. Looking forward to seeing the results in 3 months myself. You are absolutely right ginger and lemon does help. I have a different tea I make. The tea is ginger,lemon,turmeric,cinnamon,cardamon,6cloves,pinch of red pepper and ground black pepper. With 16 oz I bring it to a boil then let it simmer real low for 3 to 5 minutes. Strain it into a mug and drink it on an empty stomach right before I eat.

First off you are gorgeous! Second I just started doing the 18/6 and to be honest I find it hard to eat 1800 calories in those 6 hour Windows. Hopefully my results kick butt as well. It’s definitely a lifestyle change.

1800 calories is very low. Maybe you are 5 foot tall and are doing nothing physically demanding. To highlight that point I am 6 foot tall 230lb's and I get 4000 calories in my 6 hour window very easily. 3 meals....

Careful with combing fasting with a ketogenic diet, it will be hard on your liver, which will have to be working overtime to produce ketones. Also, for some people doing this, their body won't be able to adequately control the blood sugar, resulting in hypoglycemia (with symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, nausea, etc).

Im on it too youtube is so helpful..Im doing my steps at home with pedometer..I was adficted to fadt food chips etc..im started eating from 11:30-7:30..was late ate at 8:45 threw it off I try to just balance..its only been 3 days..youre inspurational looking forward to your posts All the best

@@richardmathers7238 I'm still learning too, though I've been doing it and studying it for about ten years. I don't think it's an on/off switch. I imagine the level of autophagy over time is a sigmoidal shaped curve. Also if you're in ketosis there should be greater autophagy.

A couple lbs..in 12 weeks?! You must have been at a good weight starting out or are you lifting weights? I lost almost 30 lbs at 12 weeks but I had alot to lose for my body type.

Your calorie count should still be in a normal range. It's usually harder to reach calorie goal because you are basically missing a whole meal.

Yes I exercise too. Not a huge amount but get at least 25 min six days a week of cardio / hiit workouts

also she said FAT BURNING not weight. so its more obvious in measurements tbh. persoanlly for me, i try to avoid the scales now knowing that fact because IF builds muscle and burns fat. before, i was about 120 pounds which is average for me but i was very -how do i put it - pudgy haha. so weight doesnt really mean anything - keep that in mind when doing it. focus on body measurements, clothes that fit you now etc. good luck
