@@hammerdragon4321 Some yards have the luxury to have proper machinery. Good intentions often fall by the wayside in the business word when money is the central focus. I've heard, seen, and, operated with a Super Stacker unloading boxes off a train many times (for those that don't know a Super Stacker is supposed to be used to stack containers but, it had a high load capacity and it was a quick operating machine). The railroad boss which purchased the stacker would catch wind of it sometimes and you'd hear, "Why are they using the Super Stacker to unload loads?" Well, you know what happened, the contractor would stop using it to unload then, time would pass especially on the night shift when the main intermodal boss would be at home in bed and, they would start using it again. The boss would find out again and, the contractor would stop using it then, the contractor would slip in using it again then, the head of the Super Stacker would get hung up in a coantainer overnight and, the boss would see the head stuck in the container when he came on duty in the morning when he did his yard assessment rounds in the morning again. Or how about when the Super Stacker would pick up a overweight box that it trips the fail safe mechanism and prevents the machine from lifting? Well, the cycle repeated itself many times and, in many other ways in which i don'y have time to explain.
