There's always comments where people say they shouldn't try at guitar anymore or they're throwing their guitar in the trash. I have no idea why people say these things. Manuel's skills always makes me want to pick up my guitar and learn them. It inspires me. Never have I wanted to give up because someone was better than me. Someone will always be better than you at something, but that doesn't mean you should jump into a volcano or give up your hobbies. Compare yourself to yourself, not someone else. Most importantly, challenge yourself to be better, don't challenge yourself to be someone else.

bro that's what i say! Those mfs should just throw theirs away😂 I started my guitar journey 6 years ago, i think im almost there to making my own thing, but only because of these guys inspiring me to play. Learning their stuff, they way they pick, strum, and move their left hand. They got me obsessed with guitar. The beautiful part about it all is we all have different music tastes outside of guitar and thats where once you've reached a point where you can compose you have your own sound. I'm working on my favorite songs and making covers of them at the moment so i can really find my way on the fretboard. my theory is pretty good now though, learning theory isn't necessary but it helps accurate understanding of the guitar. Anyways cheers haha, they dont get it.

@@cit0110 I'm not sure they should throw theirs away, I think most are joking, but it's still not a very intelligent thing to say, even ironically. But I agree with you. I started playing at 6 as well. " The beautiful part about it all is we all have different music tastes outside of guitar and thats where once you've reached a point where you can compose you have your own sound." Truer words have never been spoken my friend, that is a very amazing feeling. As for theory, I know some people say that learning theory can like "ruin creativeness" for some odd reason. But in my philosophy learning is never a bad thing, the more you can know the more tools you'll have available. Good on ya brother.

@@jaqwyld5443 perhaps i'm exaggerating on the throw away part 😂 but i just know too many people who play and try to learn for no reason. They want to learn a riff then stop, but they don't try to learn it at the same time. its very weird lol. It's usually very passionless. its not for everyone that's for sure haha
