Everyone here saying how good this is, no way to tell how much torque your putting on the cables. Do it right, this is bot the correct tool for the job.

Removed the steel cable from a 12volt electric winch. Used it like a capstan. Pulled 300 kcmil aluminum in parallel through a 4 inch pvc conduit 230'. Worked flawlessly..

Same principle as a tugger. Dig your trench, bury your conduit, pull the wire in when your done.

The fuel used to do that probably cut the time from hours to minutes of hight paid labor. If rather fill that up a full tank than pay 5 guys to do that in a full day. Work smarter not harder.

I may be wrong but that looks like 260 mil jacketed primary voltage 3-phase cable. Looks like the conduit is set up for a 3phase padmount transformer with a loop feed. Used this method multiple times.

Was the cable the same diameter when it came out as when it came in? No dynamometer on this pull means that no one knows if the conductor tension was respected and if the cable will perform to manufacturer's specs. Creative but potentially dangerous for the cable.

Wow, just like a tugger! Oh, never heard of a tugger? How 'bout a winch? How 'bout a duelly on the truck? If you know what you're doing you can go a lot faster, but it's funnier to work with dummies and watch ropes break.
