Vor 23 Jahren stachen die Eltern in See, um Feldforschung in den entlegensten Regionen der Welt zu betreiben und die nächste Generation für den Umweltschutz zu begeistern. Die Filmemacherin Livia Vonaesch begleitete die Familie sieben Jahre lang und dokumentierte im Film HOME IS THE OCEAN, wie die Schwörers konventionelle Normen von Erziehung, Bildung, Heimat und Sicherheit in Frage stellen.

Cast / Audiovisual Media ist eine Fachrichtung der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. Unter der Leitung von Nadia Holdener, Alun Meyerhans, Naomi Erlich und Adrian Graf planen die Studierenden des 3. und 5. Semesters Videobeiträge für ZFF Daily. What if you could live the dream of sailing around the world while making a positive impact? For an eight-member swiss family Schwörer, this is a reality. The parents embarked on their journey 23 years ago to conduct field research in the most remote areas and to inspire the next generation to protect the environment. In HOME IS THE OCEAN Filmmaker Livia Vonaesch documented the Schwörers' unconventional approach to upbringing, education, and the concept of home over seven years, showcasing how they challenged societal norms.

The Zurich Film Festival brings together filmmakers, directors, the film industry and the audience in Zurich. Cast / Audiovisual Media is a subject area at the Zurich University of the Arts.
