A West Wales veteran who served in Afghanistan is doing a special fundraising challenge next month. In the build up to Remembrance Sunday - Steve Owen from Llandysul will be walking 457 laps of a 400 metre running track in tribute to the number of lives lost during the conflict. Steve is an amputee after his vehicle drove over an IED 40 kilometres from Camp Bastion. He needed lifesaving surgery and has undergone numerous operations. But says he wants to pay tribute in his own way.
