I cried when I saw the beautiful face of Dr. Jamal Badawi. Age has taken a significant part on him. He is indeed a legend. A humble scholar. May Allah bless him with happiness, prosperity, good health and at the end of his journey May Allah grant him, his family and all his teachers and colleagues Jannatul Firdows. May Allah put baraka in all the knowledge and efforts he left for us. I have a humble request. I ask Dr. Yasir to please have more series with him. Each point they discussed requires in-depth discussion. May Allah bless Sh Yasir and all his team at Epic masjid to shed a light on this living legend. May Allah grant him husnul khaatima

SubhanAllah! This was such a delight to find. Dr. Jamal’s cassettes “Islam in Focus” (when he was in Halifax, Nova Scotia) brought me to say my Shahada in 1986. I missed an opportunity to meet him by minutes in a conference at our Islamic Academy in Edmonton, Alberta approx. 2007. It has been a great sadness to have missed the opportunity to tell him how much those cassettes (long dissolved now 😔) played such a huge impact on my life until now. I pray those cassettes were transferred to computers to download (I don’t know what that process is called). May Allah (SWT) Bless him and his family and may Allah grant them all the highest level of Jenna 🤲🏻.

Was not Badawi in attendance and indeed addressed and who responded at the lecture given by Dr Aafia Siddiqui in 1991? Was he not called as a character witness at her sham trial? Did he raise a voice for Dr Aaafia? It is certain that a munafiq can never be a muslim nor vice-versa for Allah(SWT) has not permitted that transition. Dr Aafia's rendition and incarceration happened because of munafiqs - Pakistani & Afghani officials who took some thousands of dollars for her seizure. Just as Allah(SWT) will not forgive Jahanaam so too will he not forgive the evil of such munafiqs for Allah(SWT) never breaks nor reneges on Allah's Laws.

If he was a pioneer of Al Islam why we never saw him in our neighborhoods? Where was he when we were getting hung and beaten in the streets of every State in the USA. Where were you the podcast interviewer?! Now you come out of the woods of your doors hiding after IWDM has boldly presented Al Islam proper in America. I didn’t even know you people were even in Los Angeles until 911 when you came to Masjid Bilal seeking our support to assist you from a government that has been anti Islam more than 100 years in this country. They deported anybody that had anything contrary to Christianity and Judaism!
