I think more needs to be highlighted about ipp and the pain it is causing many families since watching this I feel it would be a great platform to interview on that would you be interested in interviewing people who have lost love ones to ipp in prison and are fighting for the now abolished sentence to allow some of these low sentences release some have done 15 years on a 2year sentence thousands on a life sentence

Yeah my bro did 8 years on an ipp for a street robbery WITHOUT a weapon and he's 32. He got nicked for it at 20 it still affects him to this day with everything from jobs to where he can and can't go.. I think the people still on it should have it removed by now, even if it still means probation monthly. Ipp is inhumane and he ain't offended since. Just once example of many

Fish is my mate and a true gentleman, don't matter if your gay or straight people are people and respect cost nothing. Been in prison with him a few times and spent many of years listening to his stories, which are very interesting. Good to see ex prisoners bettering themselves and others and trying to improve society, I wasted 12 years of my life in prison and glad I was able to turn it around by simply addressing my behaviour and attitude towards the world. Big respect to Fish and big respect to your interview. I myself am a boxing coach a boxer and a changed man and best thing to come out of it is, I've been able to help change the lives of some people stuck in the system also. #UDONEKNOW 👊🏾💯

@@casperinferno9686 mate on 19 stretch you have to your brain. The first thing you need to do is accept the sentence. The second thing to is to educate yourself. Tell him to a degree. I done one in Spanish. And then near the end of his sentence do a sociology degree. Because that will then get him ready for release. And tell him about the changes while hes been away. And always train. I trained every day on the exercise yard.

And Mr Fish hit the nail bang on the head towards the end, about the whole can't afford a flat so what else are you supposed to do? Me and my mates are in that exact spot right now, all working full-time, all saving, all early twenties, and collectively between five of us we might be able to afford a deposit on a two bedroom flat. Some homophobia in the comments. One it's not a choice, and the the idea of it not being normal is weird. For example if the majority of the world is Chinese, would that mean being black is not normal, and a black person doesn't classify as a normal human being, or a white person, or anyone who is not Chinese don't either?. Of course not. People of the same gender, can love each other. Obviously it has to age appropriate and consenting, but that EXACTLY APPLIES to straight people.

They're too ignorant to educate themselves. It's this copycat mentality which sets us back. Some of these so called homophobes you see here in the comments don't even have a problem with gay people but because everyone else takes the piss out of them, they can't help but join in because they're too afraid to stand up for what they know is right. I have a friend who's Jamaican and recently game out as gay. Lost a lot of "friends" but the real ones stuck by him. If that's not bravery, I don't know what is.
