@@killtheZOG Nope. I 've read all biographies that are out there, from his Band mates and close buddies Ray and John too, he wasn't on heroine, never. The only single day he maybe took it was on the day he died....bc he never has done it before and overestimated the power, but this is Gossip from pple around Pamela.His favourite drug was ,in the end,actually alcohol, unfortunately.

My Lord, when Jim starts to explain his mood around 1:02, it gets me so sad. He explains how he gets a heavy, sort of gloomy felling like someone not at home, not quite relaxed, and how he wants to feel like he is totally at home. This is how I see and feel Jim's core, he is so raw about it. To me, he always sounded like he was abended from people and never received a real, genuine love, genuine interest in him, genuine care; therefore he never felt like he belonged anywhere. So, because of that big void he felt inside, he turned to substances and other self--destructive things to compensate for it. People around him never really knew the real Jim, they never understood him, and he never was able to connect to people and open up to them, especially on a deeper level. They, probably, just thought that he was weird. And, when Jim acted out, it was his way of getting attention, which made him look even more awkward. I really hope that Jim found peace, love and that feeling that he is finally at home. Am I the only one that is touched so deeply, like it makes you cry by what he said and the way he said it? It is almost like I see a boy talking.
@luciobiazotto

I feel you, you're not the only one who feels that way. I think you are quite precise on what you wrote there, he may have turned to substances not only to have a good time, but also to fill that hollow space within his talented heart ❤️. I love him and I hope that he's already at peace, who knows if he hasn't reincarnated yet as well... It's been 50 years since his passing.

Do you know why he said he wanted to do a song of joy..a song of pure joy? We all thought the same thing when he said that....a lightning bolt of thought flashed ...his songs are generally gloomy. So much in life is connected in some way of wanting what we don't have or do. That old saying, We want what we don't have...or however its worded... He wants to write a joyful song not for any other reason than he is not allowed. Whether it be record company execs...his bandmates...or himself. He knows what made him popular....what the people want from him and expect. And it pissed him off. But thats it. Its no more complex than that. Go talk to the guy/gal who made it big singing happy songs, tell them you can read their mind. lol Dont worry...I am correct. I am correct so much I must declare to everyone, yesterday I was wrong. It was amazing...happiest Ive been in some time. Being right always and forever strips all its value away to less than zero. WHat was I wrong about you are wondering? My roomates wallet was at the leasing office. Hes disabled and asked me to retrieve it. I told him to call in advance, cos there was no way they would hand it over to me, a perfect stranger. He became ornery and thought I was overreacting. That's exactly what she did. I know, that's not exactly being wrong, had she done as she should have...I know. She should have been more inquisitive but don't take it away from me. I was wrong.

Jim Morrisons father George Stephen Morrison has a Wiki page for his own accomplishments. He reached the rank of Rear Admiral serving from 1941-1975 receiving Navy Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit (2) and Bronze Star Medal. He accomplished this while his son was a drunk, pulling his wanker out on stage and finally dying of Congestive heart failure due to rampant drug abuse. George Stephen Morrison deservedly lived to the age of 89 while his son Jimmy deservedly lived to the age of 27.
