Excellent and insightful interview with Neal SCHON, a melody savant. Neal was blessed with a unique gift; and he continues to be passionate about his craft as a recording artist and touring musician, 52+ years after joining Santana.

Schon take-offs, with extraordinary screaming pauses mid-closure take-offs are stellar". So many variations, some floyd enhanced, some multiple string excursions. Only guitarest that provided live in home studio tracks, during full covid closures. Thoughtful schon, really nice of schon to not allow covid to defeat music". Schon a wizard within blues, also metal, viewed a very vintage live lick trade off, between chuck berry, also schon, trading live licks. Berry himself was really intrigued with schons play.

There is a lot more going on with this band that I am sure Neil would like to talk about but probably can't. Some fans could care less but I find fascinating and extremely interesting. Thankfully The RMO covers it and would be nice if Neil or his wife gave him an interview.
