This video is an interview done by Philip Sarpong, a Doctorate student from Wheaton College Illinois, with myself a South African clinical psychologist. In the video we discuss such as why I became interested in psychology, what my path looked like to become a psychologist, what my day-to-day schedule look like as a psychologist, and whether I've thought about pursuing my education in another country. We also discuss cultural components that I apply regarding treatment for clients, mental health stigma that I see in South Africa and life as a Black Clinician, fighting racism and prejudice. The video ends with personal reflections such as what I do to invest in my physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and other goals I have for this year.
