All of this was BARS!!! I disagree that Lestat never loved Claudia, that said he didn’t love her enough, and he couldn’t be what she needed.

You’re right. I think he did love her in a way, just not enough.

Same, and I have a feeling it'll be referenced in s3 so I won't post the whole book quote, but in regards to Claudia, Lestat has said "Claudia was my dark child, my love, evil of my evil." He did love her but it was in his own 'twisted' little way, like you said he was just too blind to be what she needed.

I watched the episode the second time and noticed that a guy was (forgot his name) was saying the exact thing lestat says on stage. It makes me think that the coven knew what claudia and Louis did but pretended they didn't know

Lestat was dissociating on the stage. I think he was puppeteered and I actually have some proof on my channel that he was. He kept looking very zombified and shaking in the background

Ooh, I'm gonna have to check your video out! Yeah at some points he seemed very physically uncomfortable. And in editing this video and taking so many screen recordings, it looks like he either had some burns or soot on his arms and hands.

. Yeah I'm going to have to see if I can find the timestamp where he's standing there in a trance. This is supposed to be lestat's big Revenge but he doesn't even know the script. They have to constantly keep feeding him lines. He's always looking off in the distance or like caught in a daze. Oh and I also believe that Armand had a huge hand in it so armand, who put the whole coven to sleep in like half a second, couldn't fight them all cause they would kill him, so his only choice was to backstab them🙄🤨 Armand just be lying 😂🤣 and what really made it a fact for me was Armand being held captive by the rat keeper. He's literally older than everybody in that room and Sam is supposed to be the lowest ranking member of the coven. That's why he was training Claudia previously. He couldn't prevent Claudia's death but just so happened to be able to control the whole entire audience to save Louis

@@niyah7139 Wow!!! I am flabbergasted by this revelation. You are so right; Armand could have easily over powered every single one of those vampires, and kill them all if he wanted to. He claimed he couldn't affect the outcome in one instance, but then he actually does effect it in another instance. He could not prevent it, but he so called intervened in time to save Louis? He is lying so freaking much! And how could Louis be so oblivious? But then again, he was banished and under such distress, and with his mind being scattered from being wiped by Armand (who really knows how many times), his memory is sh*t. So Armand was the one who orchestrated the whole trial scenario idea because he wanted to get rid of Claudia and Madeleine, and Lestat was the sticking point to hinge the worst of the crimes onto them. He could have been puppeteering Lestat for most of the trial, even summoning Lestat there to Paris. Maybe Lestat didn't even really want to persecute them, not like that anyway. This is sooooo juicy, and sad! LOL!

I genuinely believe Claudia de Lioncourt was her father's daughter, and that is why they couldn't stand each other. Both Claudia and Lestat were ruthless manipulators, very much two sides of the same coin. Claudia's parents absolutely failed her, but Lestat did hold some respect and love for her that, in my opinion, cannot be denied. RIP Claudia

Yeah I do think Lestat loved her in a way - like a very basic way all parents love their children. He treated her pretty badly last season though … but I do believe he loved her underneath it all.

The coven went on a late night rampage of Paris and stole the lens from the observatory. The lens was installed in the skylight of the theatre, and this is how Claudia and Madeleine were killed.

@@andrewanderson5415 yeah I think I will read “Interview With The Vampire” after the show is done. From what I’ve been hearing, episode 8 would wrap up the IWTV book, and the next thing would be “The Vampire Lestat” book. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t have to worry about spoilers any longer!
