Masé Sutterland - Pents deelt haar verhaal, als rijk ontwikkeld zorgverlener in Schiedam.
Ze verteld wat ze doet, waarom ze het zo leuk vindt en wat haar visie is op de toekomst in de zorg en hoe we het kunnen overleven.
Van verpleegkundige, opgeleid bij de nonnen in het St. Francisus Gasthuis in Rotterdam, in de jaren '80 werd ze uiteindelijk zelfstandig therapeut. Tegenwoordig heeft ze haar eigen praktijk Hartseer, en werkt ze als POH GGZ Jeugd en Gezin.
Kunst, gezondheidszorg en educatie is haar drie-eenheid waarop ze haar werk stoelt.
Als mens en echtgenote van een huisarts was ze gedurende 30+ jaar op de voorgrond in de eerste lijn, waar ze onder andere Diabetes Mellitus 2 verpleegkundige was.
Als vrouw voor haar partner mocht ze ook hem begeleiden bij gezondheidsproblemen, waar de meesten van ons 'U' tegen zeggen.
We hebben het over rouwen, hoop, en hoe kunst en educatie in de zorg kunnen samenkomen om inzichten te krijgen, lijnen te vinden en houvast.

From a nurse trained by the nuns in the St. Francisus Gasthuis in Rotterdam in the 1980s, she eventually became an independent therapist. Nowadays she has her own practice in Hartseer and works as a supportive counselor in psychiatric care Jeugd en Gezin.
'Art, healthcare and education 'is her trinity on which she bases her work.
As a human being and wife of a general practitioner, she had been at the forefront of primary care for 30+ years, where she speacilised in Diabetes care, among other things.
As a wife for her partner, she was also stood by him through severe and ongiung health problems, something most of us could not cope with.
We talk about mourning, hope, and how art and education in healthcare can come together to allow insights, to find bounderies and guidance.
