We pre-ran that 2017 course for our truck team. I rode nearly the entire course on a dirt bike, 3 of them to be exact. I fell, got lost, ran out of gas (twice) had a flat tire, blisters on both hands and feet, was cold, hot, used flashlights taped to my helmet, and ate lots of tacos! All over the time frame of 6 days, 1234 miles! I’m so glad I raced it in the trophy truck after the pre run on a bike. You are a true inspiration, example of determination and how to manage risk. Live and race another day! I hope to see you cross that finish line✊️💪

First half of these films... "One day I'm going to race the Baja 100". Second half of the movie... "Ok, that looks awful". Then I watch the next one and do it all over again in my head haha. I feel like you start to get pretty tired and a sore ass after 75-100 miles in a day. Now just do 10 times that without really stopping. Ironman indeed.

as a fellow rider who has done 250 miles off road in one day I can't image in riding 1,200 miles off road. It's better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all, for not trying is the biggest failure of them all. I am 58 years old and I am constantly pushing the limits that others fear to test. In the end I will be able to look back on my life full of failures and successes and know deep down in my heart that I did my best and enjoyed life to the fullest. Your films rekindles that inspiration that sometimes begins to flicker with age. Sometimes all you really need is a little extra fuel to drive it that extra mile.

Big up both of your awesome asses.... whoop whoop And son certainly never feel bad for listening to your body when it needed to stop....
