Nice video. I'll start out by saying, I enjoy SWG Restoration, but I have two major issues with that server. 1. SWG Restoration requires unprecedented access to your PC or device. That nearly turned me away from Restoration and I sure it does turn a lot people away. I have played and continue to play on multiple SWG servers and Restoration is the only server with this requirement. I later learned that they store that data on a 3rd party server and we have no way knowing how that data is secured or if/how it is being shared. That's a bit concerning. Restoration's explanation for this requirement is, "to ensure there isn't account abuse (people having multiple accounts)". That doesn't make sense seeing that SWG Legends, SWG Beyond, SWGemu Finalizer, SWGemu Infinity, and SWG Evolve seem to be able to handle that without having to have such access to your personal data. 2. It seems (at least in my case) you can only connect to the game client via the internet service you used to initially create an account. That's a real problem for people that may have more than one way to connect to the internet or that travel for work and have to connect via a mobile hotspot or hotel wifi. That should not be an issue. I sent in a ticket in that regard and the response was lack luster. I was told that Resoration is not set up to handle hotspots and therefore, I would likely not be able to log into the game via a hotspot. Support went on to tell me that Resoration was desisigned to work with static internet connections. Ironically, my main internet is through T-Mobile Home Internet. It literally works just like a hotspot, but since that is the internet I used to initially register with Restoration, it works fine. Like above, other servers do not seem to have this issue. You can switch between internet providers and still log in. Another potentially detrimental issue is a man by the name Arconite. I haven't had any personal issues with him, but when I first started researching SWG Restoration, I ran across multiple complaints about how he interacts with the community. When you have the two most notable SWG streamers come out and say negative things about the guy, that says a lot. It certainly isn't the kind of attention a project wants to have. I have noticed some of his interactions with the community within both Restoration's Player Voice and on Reddit. He is a rather toxic individual that is not doing any favors for Restoration's reputation. Upon further research, Arconite has actually been involved with other SWG projects and has a bad reputation going as back as 2014. He has even been blamed in the past for the running a project into the ground. Ironically, that project was relaunched without Arconite under different name and has gone on to become the most popular SWG server to date. Most of the people that continue to play SWG are adults and a lot of adults will not put up with man-child behavior. Especially when there are viable options out there. It seems about the same time Aconite became part of Restoration, the server begin to see a significant decline in population.

Just discovered SW has a game, full of Star Wars more than any Star Wars game. Pretty cool, even if janky.
