Love this. My fav digital reverb I never used but long to understand. Cool stuff becoming familiar with it while worshiping its sound capabilities due to its history making great records sound magical & unearthly at times.

It's nice how they made the fader change the reverb time logarithmically instead of linear. This means most of the fader range gives you control over the shorter times, which allows for precise control up to 2 sec reverb time, which is more important than precise control over for instance the difference between 10 and 12 sec reverb time.

@@domanca-dk3mx Nice, I will try that tomorrow. I am more of a delay guy, I hate reverb because it can take away from tha quality of tha microphone real fast but if you add just a " LITTLE ", it can make tha vocal track pop out as I am sure you know

@@OperationChicago Yeah, I‘d say for rap vocals, you usually wanna maintain the percussiveness and tightness of them, so a reverb is usually stylistically an uncommon choice. A little bit can go a long way. If you‘re working on other types of music that stylistically benefit from more heavy-handed ambience then it‘s a very different approach.

@@TheRealCowlick Agree, I fought this for years but a couple of smart people showed me and said tha same thing you said, a little can go a long way. Just so you feel it, not hear it. I like tha sounds from tha 1990's like ICE CUBE Lethal Injection Album. That is a good sounding record. Plus I am recording into 2 inch tape which I can't even explain how bad this is already.

@@OperationChicago I def agree w drier rap vocals... but adding just the tiniest bit of reverb can be awesome and make the song really come together

I wish this Lexicon had an " enter " button, this way when I choose a program, I could actually press enter instead of what button ? lol

Have you ever even used a 480? On such limited space interface like the L.A.R.C. another button just for a single function would be a waste of space, especially when the load function can be done in the clever way the 480 does. The program is blinking so you are in pre-view mode. Just hit the key-number with the same number of the program in the display and the preset is loaded. Briliant!

Would you be shocked to hear I own tha 480 L ? :) I figured it out now, it's tha best machine on earth for reverb :) I still like an enter button instead of PRG button :) Just curious, you seem to know everything in tha world, what program would you use and is your favorite for a singer and a rapper ?@@italoop7850

@@italoop7850 Enter button would still would still be nice :) Question... How do I use tha other half of this Lexicon meaning... I have tha part part hooked up to AUX 1, tha 2nd part of this Lexicon that is hooked up hardwire wise is Aux 2. I already programmed my Lexicon for large hall, now I want to program something else on AUX but not loose AUX 1. Do you know how to switch that in tha Lexicon ?
