I'm so happy Motley is back on the road. I'm not going to be one of those fans that gets upset because it's not 1985 anymore, I'm gonna enjoy this for what it is, a kickass rock n roll good time. It's also very early in the tour so they're still working out the kinks. I'm glad they're coming to my town in August, which by then they'll be a well oiled machine. I was actually AT the show in Miami tonight, so I can weigh in. I came in just as Joan Jett was finishing so I can't comment on her. Poison was good - sound was good - it was fun and they really whipped the crowd up. The band I wanted to see most was Motley - less so Def Leppard but I have to say, DL REALLY was flawless. The sound, vocals, stage presence....just really got it done. I was so pumped for Motley. I was GROSSLY disappointed. All I could hear was bass from where I was. (Sitting in the same seat, had ZERO issues with the sound for Poison or Leppard). To his credit, for what little I stayed for, Vince 'sounded' okay. But 75% of the sound I was getting was a heavy, rumbling bass. Could hear very little of vocals or any of Mick's playing. Even the drums were drowned out. Tommy only lasted 2 songs before his usual F-bomb laced excuse speech. I get it if you have an injury to your ribs. But what did he get involved with that resulted in cracked ribs?!?! The contract specifically forbids certain activity for that very reason. Def Leppard has a drummer with ONE ARM for God's sake and he turned in a brilliant performance, so the excuses from Lee and Sixx fall flat - I'm sorry. Between the sound and Tommy Lee bowing out, I couldn't stand it. I left after 4 Crue songs. A complete joke. Don't go to the Stadium Tour! Unless you want to see Joan, Poison, and Def Leppard. Set your expectations with the Crue. VERY weak. This is a total money grab for them. Tommy Lee doesn't want to be there, Vince Neil is sub-par and the sound from the stage is dreadful. Sorry. But I was there and gave it a chance., When Leppard out-classes you, it's to be expected. But when even Poison outshines you live, it's time to call it a day, Nikki. Sorry folks, but it's an honest review.

I've heard people say that from sitting on the side during crue they are tuned down a whole step and Nikki's bass is a bit more raunchy and gritty than the others ..it's just there sound makes them sound full ... That sucks I sat on the side at guns and roses and had a hard time hearing slash ...

Almost all the feedback from just the 1st 2 shows were “Def Leppard & Poison were the best bands of the night”. Love Def Leppard to death, but I’m also a Crüe head. Of all 4 bands performing, the person who did the worst on the day was...the sound guy for Motley Crue. Nikki Sixx bass was too loud and overpowering in the mix. So much so that there were multiple moments of massive feedback from Nikki's bass...you can hear it a bit in this video @2:35, @2:45, @3:42, and @3:54 in this song. (It was much worse at the concert than what you can hear here). It's ok to have it happen once or twice...but it should be fixed. 4 times in this song, and probably occurred in 3 or 4 other songs. Totally inexcusable. None of the other bands had this type of issue.

Duh. If you wanna stay stuck in the past listen to the records and watch old concert footage. The rest of us will enjoy having Motley back on the road.

I think it's intentional for Vince's sake. While still a bit dodgy, he's at least singing most of the lyrics so far.

@@tweak991 Yeah, that’s probably the case. I just don’t see why they don’t just tune down 1/2 step. It would tremendously help their cause. Bon Jovi was tuning down a whole step on his last tour & still sounded like complete shit! There isn’t anything that’s ever going to make Vince Neil sound good as he’s been terrible since he was 22 years old, but it’d at least help them from being laughed at… 🤷🏼♂️

I’ve been a MC fan since day one. If I’m being honest….which I am…..Vince was never a great singer. You can’t compare the MC of 2022 to the MC of 1983…Everyone breaks Vince’s ass about weight and his sub par voice…..Meh…..I go for the SHOW…..and to hear MM kick ass! I think he sounds okay here…..I’m looking forward to Philly…..then I’ll give an honest review. Oh and if you wanna discuss a guy that needs to retire…it’s Jon Bon Jovi…..he sounds like trash…and I’m his number one fan! ✌️
