It revived my kinda lost debating skill. I have trained debate for seven years now, and yet, I just got generally a lot shyer, a lot more confused and less aggressive over time. I've started losing debate after debate. The show, kinda reminded me that as a performer, I just have to ignore any troubles like stage fright or other worries and concerns - just get up there and focus on giving a performance of a lifetime each time I make a speech. I 'm honestly surprised that something of an "inspirational" anime could actually do that, I've been looking down on all that inspirational quotes hippy nonsense that looks like wishful thinking almost for as long as I can remember. But I'll be dammed, for once it actually worked on me.

7:40 I don't know why but since I've been listening to this one more and more frequently, this part has stuck out to me even more. The following piano notes from the violin created an experience that I cannot even put into words! And then the pianist goes back into the chorus which sounds amazing! It's like I'm listening to two songs at once!

the music in this anime was what made me fall for the show even more. Hearing the words “the performances were boring and dramatic” from my siblings, I felt embarrassed that I live in the same household as them. It was so beautiful and still is. Being able to hear the emotion of the playing was just so amazing, this has to be one of my favorite anime. Oh how I wish I was able to play violin or piano with such passion. People who play piano or violin, or really any instrument, I love you, I admire you, you are so talented. okay I’m done speaking now bye bye.

This piece appears to be an allegory for the duet between the pianist and the violinist. When this piece was first performed, there was also a duet. In this case it was Camille Saint-Saens acting as conductor, and fellow composer Pablo de Sarasate, who played the violin solo at the beginning. The duet between Camille Saint-Saens and Pablo de Sarasate is similar to the duet between the violinist and the pianist in the series itself. The arrangement they used here is the version of Introduction and Rondo Cappricioso as arranged by George Bizet. Coincidence? I think not!

One of my favourite pieces in this wonderful show! Just finished Your Lie in April in the last 3 days and my god it was one of the best anime I have ever seen!! My interest for classical music has been awoken and I just realised how beautiful classical music is! And this piece is just encompassing all of these emotions! The scene, where Kousei and Kaori play this was easily one of the best in the entire series and this new version of the original piece just fits perfectly with our Protagonists: Kousei and Kaori...my god such a good show

I have been playing the clarinet for 9 years already. Freshman year of high school I lost interest as I watched as each of my friends walked out on my life as I just was to busy practicing and had no free time. They left mealone and I had just continued to play but I didnt play with the same passion as I used when I first played the clarinet. I was realizing that I am somewhat like Kousei. I have been getting fear and barely even hear myself play anymore. I just play for a promise I kept for myself and I just stopped really having passion for my music anymore. I have a piano and I played and mentally composed but I stopped. It's been 4 years since I last played the piano. I barely started to watch the anime but this is making me cry already in the first 4 episodes. I hope to get my passion and not give up on my once passion for clarinet and piano.

My favorite classical song, it gives me hardcore goosebumps and every time the main sequence at 1:45 kicks in, the violin cries in such a bittersweet and mournful way the point of moving me to tears. Then 4:46 happens and I start subconsiously swaying to the melody of the violin, as this whole song consumes me every time I listen to it. Absolutely immaculate piece of art. I don't know how someone made this, but they had so much talent. For anyone who wants to pick up an instrument, everyone starts out bad, even mozart and chopin. They had to work their way up with painstaking sessions and constant repitition. You can do it, don't give up on the things you love, and enjoy the experiences and the learning curve that comes along with it. Keep it up, and you'll become a professional in time. Love you all and have a wonderful rest of your day💜

Yukiko While i understand your irritation with that, i would like to point out a few facts. 1: I am a musician, i started out playing trumpet when i was 12 and ive moved in and out through various instruments from piano to clarinet and im 20 now. I first heard the rondo capriccioso at a recital at my local community college when i was 8 during a school trip and thats where i first got that "battlefield impression" that many violinists and their accompanist try to create when performing this piece. 2: I am also into anime and Shigatsu wa kimi no uso was a show that i did infact enjoy because of my interest in music in general. Just like any show, musical anime has a sort of niche audience and because of this most of the people who watched the show did so because they themselves enjoy music, so yes, many of the people are going to comment about the show when on videos showcasing any of the pieces performed during the show but i dont see that as a bad thing. Everyone has to be exposed to something in some form, is it so wrong that they were exposed to wonderful pieces like this and many others because of a show? Does that make them lesser than people who study music or perform professionally? Of course not. I understand that people can act like they know info about a topic because of shallow sources, but just because someone makes an observation about how a piece feels, especially if it reminds them of a show in which the same feelings mightve been evoked, that doesnt degrade the piece in the slightest.

one eyed him Also, throughout the song you can hear the accompanist inhaling loudly. I heard from my piano teacher that they only teach accompanists to do that in America because they need that to keep in synchronization with the violinist. My piano teacher has taught in different countries and was shocked to hear the breathing the first time she was performing (vocals) with the accompanist doing the inhaling.

Nico Canta I'm pretty sure that's the bow's friction across the string before the violin produces a note. I heard it in the anime too, and she always tugged her bow across the strings when she made that sound, and I think the original violinist that recorded did that on purpose for originality purposes.
@Exelitious
9 жыл бұрын
***** Nope. Its a breath. its a 'technique' of sorts. you take a breath and slowly put the bow on the string so it doesn't move unnecessarily. The sound of a bows friction on strings is wayyyyyy more unpleasant. even if silent.
@bob232149
9 жыл бұрын
***** as Exelitious said, tht sound is from the breathing, u can hear tht the "breathing" noise doesn't match up to the bow strokes. Also, the bow sound is much more raspy, and tight (closed, muffled, doesn't really project), whereas breathing sounds more open. If that makes any sense. Due to that property, typically, bow sounds arent picked up/recorded. Also, due to the fact that the raspy sound isnt a pleasant sound at all, we usually avoid trying to pick up that sound all toghether

I can play the piano and guitar (classical acoustic and electric), Albeit not to a level of a professional mind you. But if I learned Violin, it's such an emotional instrument and everything you do with it no matter how small is so impactful to the sound. Violin is so intimidating.
@Gam3rsInstinct

I hold violin or other string instruments such as viola, cello, and contrabass to the most difficult instruments because you must take into account innumerable factors of a piece and your own playing style, or you could fail terrible because of that one small misstep. (Plus it was always Band vs Orchestra in my schools, and I'd vow I'd one day show em the power of the strings)

The same can be said for any musical instrument actually. It all depends on how much you feel the instrument; how much you want that instrument to understand you. This is very metaphoric, but your playing really all depends on the connection you have with your particular instrument. If you have a deep understanding with it, then it will naturally respond to you.
